If you have visited my site before then you will be well aware that from time to time I cover Chiptunes from a friend of mind, Aaron White. As I am sure you will agree, his previous compilations have been quite awesome. His most recent disk was of Christmas tunes, which was great to listen to over the festive holidays. All of his tunes are created on an actual A1200 using Protracker.
Now he is back with his first release of 2015. The Retro Asylum Vol 4 features 10 original tunes that he have created himself by trying out a different style. This album features tracks that has a very upbeat tempo to them and to Aaron’s credit he has managed to pull it off well. In my opinion his reggae / jazz combination is very unique and one that you should listen too if you want something different.
