My good friend Aaron White has been busy this month. We may only be 8 days into September but we have been very fortunate to have had 2 awesome chiptune disks. At the beginning we had his Dizzy tribute disk which was brilliant and now we got a tribute to a great software company from the 8-bit era, Hi-Tec Software.
I am sure if you are reading this then you remember them as they had some great games out and Aaron had the difficult task to choose just 10 of them. But as always he never fails to disappoint with his selections and as can be seen from the above screen with games like Hong Kong Phooey, Wacky Races and Quickdraw McGraw we have great disk and as is always the case with Aaron his passion shines through and the disk becomes just amazing to listen too.
My favourites off this disk are probably Top Cat, Hong Kong Phooey and Wacky Races. But as the whole disk is just quality and if those cartoons weren’t a major part of the childhood then I don’t know how I would have chosen as they are all equally great. Aaron you have yet again created a tribute disk that really does credit to the games that you picked. My hat is off to you.
