Our favourite Chiptune creator Aaron White has been a busy man with his remixed tracks he has released over the past few weeks. They have all been great with a excellent selection of some classic songs which have been fun to listen to again, but the gamer in me have always liked his conversion of C64 Sid tunes to Protracker on the Amiga 1200. And his latest RGDS and Indie Retro News release of 9 classic C64 games on 1 disk had my interest peaked.
The 9 titles that Aaron selected are all classic games released on the C64 and as usual the conversion is of his usual high standard. I won’t spoil your listening pleasure by listing all the games, but I will tell you all which were my favourites. I liked Way of the Exploding Fist, Rambo 3, Batman the Movie and Batman the Cape Crusader. Mind all the tracks sounds amazing and I liked them all, but these are games that hold a place in my heart due to great family time with those titles.
